Love this place and always always come here when I'm in Chinatown. They have a huge selection of quality products for really affordable prices.
They take EBT! Good enough asian grocery store in the middle of the city. Super 88 and hmart are obviously bigger but it's good enough!
This is a hidden gem on a small alley type Street in Boston' Chinatown. I think only the locals that actually live in Chinatown the garbage man and myself use this little tiny alleyway but it is a legal street in Boston. Anyways Jia Ho is in the middle of the alley or the middle of the tiny side street between Beach and Kneeland. You walk downstairs it's basically a basement of a large building. And it's set up pretty much like all the Asian markets with fresh vegetables some fresh fish all imported goods teas etc. i've been frequenting here for the previous 10 years surprised I haven't made a review on this place yet. Today I only picked up a couple items I got some shrimp and pork dumplings they come frozen but you can swear they're the ones that they serve in the restaurants they made in Chinatown and they're fresh and then flash frozen easy to double boil and they come out fabulous just as if you were in a restaurant. I also picked up a little bit of noodle to make like a stirfry with some fried noodle looks like angel hair comes out delicious. Next time you go to Chinatown to indulge at your favorite restaurant take a quick walk around the corner and check this place out you'll probably go home with a bag of imported goodies. As far as cleanliness goes you know it's pretty clean for Chinatown if it was on the outskirts lets say Saugus or Newton it would be dirty but for Chinatown I'm impressed pretty clean. Prices are approximately the same as all the other Asian markets may be a couple dollars more by the time you're filling a bag or two but they are directly downtown and I'm sure the overhead is enormous. FYI don't try to drive here if you're parked and you're going to enjoy a nice dinner I would take a quick pop over to this place but stay in the same parking spot because as anywhere else in Chinatown you need to park in God's on your side. I'm so happy that they've loved me my entire life they take good care of me I always get a spot, unbelievable!! Thank you Chinatown parking God's
Good, fairly small Asian supermarket that has (almost) everything we need. It doesn't have everything or as many options as other stores, but it is the best Asian grocery store in the city.
Found so many hidden gem ingredients I can't get anywhere else. Fairly reasonably priced for being downtown, always a good vibe! If you're just running in for a drink or a snack, be aware there's a $5 card minimum, but I never have a hard time finding something fun to try.
